Preparatory department

The main goal of the preparatory department is to create in foreign students the level of knowledge and language skills necessary for successfully obtaining higher education in Ukraine.

The leading universities that offer preparatory courses are: Simon Kuznets Kharkiv National University of Economics and V. N. Karazin Kharkiv National University

Initiated in 2002, the preparatory courses for international students have to date graduated more than 8,000 students representing 32 different countries such as Azerbaijan, Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan, China, Congo, Jordan, Egypt, India, Morocco, Palestine, Saudi Arabia, Sudan , Turkey, and others. The choice of language of instruction is Ukrainian or English, at your discretion.

Universities offer three areas of preparatory courses:

• Preparatory courses followed by admission to a medical university;
• Preparatory courses with subsequent admission to other universities;
• Online preparatory department.

For students who are active and motivated, there is the opportunity to receive a scholarship for outstanding academic achievements.

Medical course primarily focused on language training and the study of basic educational disciplines necessary for successful study at a medical university and subsequent professional training. Graduates of this course will be able to apply their knowledge and skills in the medical field in different countries around the world.

Preparatory courses with subsequent admission to other universities are designed to provide intensive training in language and economic disciplines with the main goal of preparing students for admission to diverse universities in the country.

Online preparatory department is designed to prepare foreign citizens for successful studies in higher educational institutions of Ukraine. Training in online preparatory courses is carried out at the choice of students in Ukrainian or English.
