O. M. Beketov National University of Urban Economy in Kharkiv
O.M. Beketov National University of Urban Economy in Kharkiv is proudly included in the TOP 100 Ukrainian universities, determined by the international agency IREG. He is also a member of the International Association of Universities and the Union of Scientific and Engineering Associations of Ukraine, and his influence extends beyond the country, to the European Federation of National Engineering Associations.
Today the university is represented by seven faculties, four educational centers and ten educational and consulting centers located in different regions of the country. The total number of students is an impressive 17,000, and among them, more than 700 students come from different parts of the world.
The corporate information system of NUUEKH is the most important innovative project of the university, built using modern information technologies and software products. With the help of a corporate information system, students can solve a whole range of problems related to the educational process. From local workplaces or from the Internet, students can find or obtain information about their work plans during their studies, the class schedule at any time and the balance of costs for paying for tuition and hostel fees and solve many other “technical” issues. Over the many years of its existence, the university has entered into contracts and established fruitful cooperation with numerous international partners in Azerbaijan, Bulgaria, Great Britain, Greece, Canada, Kazakhstan, China, Latvia, Morocco, Poland, Portugal and even New Zealand.
The university offers education in two languages: Ukrainian and English. Graduates of the O.M. Beketov National University of Urban Economy in Kharkiv have broad career prospects and can work in such areas as research institutes, construction companies, architectural management agencies, engineering enterprises, design and design organizations, as well as power and nuclear power plants.
