The National Technical University “Kharkiv Polytechnic Institute” is an institution of higher technical education located in the city of Kharkov and founded in 1885. This university ranks second in Ukraine in terms of importance in the technical field after the Lviv Technical Academy.
Currently, more than 20 thousand students are studying at the university, making it one of the largest educational institutions in the country. In 2012, the National Technical University “Kharkiv Polytechnic Institute” was recognized as one of the leaders in national university rankings. For example, in the ranking of technical universities in Ukraine in 2012, conducted by the magazine “Money”, KhPI took third place, and in the ranking of universities “Compass” – sixth place.
The university’s successes are also confirmed by international rankings. For example, in the QS EECA 2022 ranking, which evaluates universities in developing countries in Europe and Central Asia, Kharkiv Polytechnic Institute took 105th place in the overall ranking and fourth place among universities in Ukraine. These results confirm the important role of the university in the national and global educational space.
In addition to high rankings, NTU “KhPI” is also a center of active scientific and innovative research. The university actively cooperates with industrial enterprises and scientific organizations, contributing to the development of technological innovation in the region and the country as a whole.
