Ukrainian State University of Railway Transport

Ukrainian State University of Railway Transport was founded in 1930. Over the years of its existence, the educational institution has increased its status several times.
Over its almost 90-year history, the university has trained more than 95 thousand specialists for railway transport, transport construction and other sectors of the national economy.

The university carries out successful international cooperation. Together with the State Educational Scientific and Cultural Institution of France (CNAM) (Paris), it trains masters in the specialization “Infrastructure and operation of high-speed highways”. As part of the implementation of the university’s academic mobility program under the Erasmus + project, an exchange of scientists was organized between the university and partners from France, Poland, and Latvia.

UkrSURT trains highly qualified specialists from among foreign citizens at the first (bachelor’s) level of higher education and the second (master’s) level of higher education for railway transport and enterprises of other countries. Foreign citizens from 11 countries study at the university.

During their studies, university students take part in international, all-Ukrainian, regional exhibitions, competitions, conferences, and olympiads, including in Germany, China, Bulgaria, Poland, and France.

The university has developed and implemented a system of professional and practical training for students in the educational process. Students have the opportunity to take an active part in the work of the university’s creative teams, practicing vocals and choreography.

Over its history, the Ukrainian State University of Railway Transport has become one of the most prestigious higher educational institutions in our state, has received high international authority, and has become a powerful scientific center.
