Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs takes a well-deserved place in the TOP-200 universities of Ukraine, according to the list compiled by UNESCO.
The university provides educational programs in six main areas: law, law enforcement, psychology, sociology, finance and credit, as well as technical protection of information systems.
The university boasts a powerful scientific and teaching staff, including 62 doctors of science, 46 professors, 357 candidates of science and 178 associate professors. Education at the university is carried out in Ukrainian.
At the moment, more than 8,500 students are studying at the KhNUIA, of which more than 500 are foreign citizens. The university also provides a preparatory department, which prepares applicants of various categories for admission to the university. In addition, KhNUIA actively cooperates with leading universities specializing in police training in Belarus, France and Germany. The university also establishes close ties and exchanges experience with representatives of police academies in the USA, Sweden, Poland and other countries in order to effectively resolve current issues in the field of internal affairs and law enforcement.
Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs continues to actively develop and strengthen its position in the educational environment. The university strives not only to provide quality education, but also to conduct scientific research that contributes to improving law and order and compliance with laws in Ukraine and beyond. This scientific activity is important not only for students and researchers of the university, but also for the entire society.
In addition, the international exchange of experience and knowledge helps the university remain at the center of current world events and the development of the rule of law, and also helps to attract foreign students and scientists to KhNUIA, which enriches the university community and promotes cultural exchange.
