Ukrainian Engineering Pedagogics Academy is an important educational institution specializing in the field of engineering and pedagogical education in Ukraine. The Academy was founded in 1958 with the main purpose of training engineering specialists for the country’s industry, which was in the process of reconstruction after the Second World War.
Currently, UEPA provides education to more than 10 thousand students. The Academy is located in historical buildings, including the Governor General’s Palace and adjacent ones on Universitetskaya Street.
The history of the Ukrainian Engineering Pedagogics Academy began in 1958, and since then it has constantly maintained a high standard of training specialists. Students at this academy receive an extensive education, including engineering knowledge and deep psychological and pedagogical skills, which allows them to master two specialties – engineering and pedagogy. This prepares them for exciting and important work in vocational education, including vocational schools, technical schools, colleges, schools and businesses.
UEPA offers multi-level training for specialists, including bachelors, specialists and masters. The teaching staff consists of 438 teachers, of whom 53 have Doctor of Science degrees, and 222 have Candidate of Science degrees.
Ukrainian Engineering Pedagogics Academy has scientific student societies and clubs that provide an opportunity to realize their hobbies and expand their range of interests. Sports are an integral part of student life.
Academy students can choose between full-time and part-time forms of study, and also have the opportunity to obtain a second specialty and learn a working profession. The Academy also actively supports the system of training scientific and pedagogical personnel, including doctoral and postgraduate programs.
