The university was established in 1930, and since then it has acquired profound educational and methodical traditions which are generally recognized by the higher school.
Nowadays Kharkiv National University of Radio Electronics is a unique university and it has no analogue according to the concentration of scientific and technical as far as educational and pedagogical potential in the field of radio electronics, information technologies, telecommunications and computer engineering.
Leading scientists and many departments cooperate with higher educational establishments, organizations and firms of Bulgaria, Britain, Greece, China, the Netherlands, Spain, Poland, German, Russia, the United States of America, Finland, France, Japan and others.
Nowadays 13000 students get higher education according to 22 directions and 36 specialties, including citizens from 60 countries of the world. Today 1.500 foreign students get their education at our university, including groups with teaching in English. There are 10 faculties at Kharkiv National University of Radio Electronics, 8 of them are full-time.
